Today’s driving PSA: The Courtesy Wave is not optional, people

I come to you today with a public service announcement. No need to thank me. Just doing my job.

It has come to my attention of late that some people in this country are not aware of some common rules of the road and it’s really ticking me off. In the coming weeks, I will address a few rules that aren’t on the driver’s test – but should be.

Today’s lesson? The Courtesy Wave. Most right-thinking people know about the Courtesy Wave, the quick flash of a hand that lets other drivers know we recognize their courtesy and appreciate it.
