3 books from It’s a Southern Thing won BookFest Awards!

I consider myself incredibly lucky to get to write silly books for kids and for adults. I also consider myself lucky to work with some incredible illustrators and designers. I have surrounded myself with extremely talented people for a reason, y’all. They make me look good!

I was so excited to learn Friday that three of my It’s a Southern Thing books created in conjunction with illustrators and designers were named winners in the Spring 2023 BookFest Awards.
