Is this the cutest Dairy Queen ever?

I saw the most unique Dairy Queen on a recent stop in Andalusia, Ala. It was made up of two buildings: The original walk-up dairy bar and the historic building next door, where people can sit down and eat.

To make it even more adorable, the brick building had a vintage DQ neon sign and a mural was painted on its side showing the history of the store.

According to this article on WSFA 12 News, the eatery was bought by the Faulkner family in 1957. The Faulkner’s son, Jimmy, operated the restaurant for many years and bought the building next door in the 1990s.

Inside, memorabilia from the restaurant and the town covers the walls. (Look for more posts on the history of Andalusia later this week)
